What made this shoot unique is that we shot over FIFTY food shots in a very busy kitchen during lunch hours. We would wait for the many employees to move away from the photo’s background and then quickly snap the photo.

Some of these dishes were prepared in advance, while many were photographed just moments before they were served.

Please Note: These are VERY LOW RESOLUTION sample images. The ‘originals’ are much CLEARER and more VIVID.

To speed things up, we would set up the flowers, drink, flatware, etc., and leave a ‘hole’ for the food.  The food would be quickly positioned, the camera reframed-adjusted-focused and ‘snap’.

After two fast moving hours, we had an incredible lunch.  And, BTW, all their food is prepared with this level of attention.

You really should check them out . . . The Cheddar Box Cafe.
