This time we were shooting photos for the promotion of a rural restaurant and museum.  The building is a schoolhouse build around 1900.  And aside from the restaurant on the first floor, there are many items of historical significance inside the museum sections in the lobby, second and third floor.

Aside from the restaurant, they also rent the building for weddings, receptions, reunions, and business meetings.

We waited for a great day (blue sky and terrific clouds) and traveled the 40 miles to the restaurant.

Other than selecting the proper lens and adjusting the camera for maximum sharpness, we just walked around and waited fro the sun to come out from behind the clouds.

However, we did use Photoshop to remove the watertower from behind the building.

Strange as this sounds, in real life you don’t really notice the water tower as it is blocked by either the building or the trees when you’re actually on the lot.

In the near future, we plan to go back and shoot the interior shots.

Please Note: These are VERY LOW RESOLUTION sample images. The ‘originals’ are much CLEARER and more VIVID.
